2017 Jessie's Zin "Estate Zinfandel"
 
An Homage to Jessie Fremont, best-selling author, and political activist. She took up residence in Bear Valley minutes from Casto Oaks vineyards in 1849. This wine is spicy and smoky, fruit-forward showing black plums, cooked cherries, blueberries, spices, light oak, vanilla, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs and peppercorn.  A 2022 San Francisco Chronicle Gold medal winner, 90 points Wine Enthusiast, 90 points Odedis Wine Reviews.
